Sonubaits Banoffee Groundbait 2kg
Irresistible Beautiful Scent And Flavour!
A versatile mix perfect for use on a method feeder thanks to its fantastic binding qualities but also extremely effective when cupped in on the pole. Contains a blend of high quality fishmeals, crushed expander and biscuit meaning it can be mixed to suit whatever angling situation you are faced with. Smells fantastic due to the addition of our popular Banoffee flavouring.
Mixing Instructions
Banoffee is simple to mix. Empty the contents into a large mixing bowl or bucket. Using a 2pint bait tub as a measure, fill with water and add to the dry groundbait, mixing thoroughly and ensuring an even distribution throughout the mix. Allow time for the groundbait to absorb the water. Fine tune the mix to your requirements and pass through a riddle to remove any lumps.
Alternatively, you can use a drill and whisk, this is now the preferred method of many of our consultants.11 – Reward points -
Sonubaits Bloodworm Fishmeal 2kg Groundbait
All anglers know the effectiveness of bloodworm, pretty much every fish will have encountered and fed on bloodworm and they instinctively recognise it as a food source.
We have taken the humble bloodworm and enhanced it by freeze drying it to concentrate and intensify its flavour and smell. Dried bloodworm is then added to a mix of fishmeals, crushed pellets and other proteins including dried blood to form a groundbait that can be used in a cage feeder, on a Method Feeder, or simply balled in. Perfect for all species of coarse fish including Bream, Carp, Roach and F1's
Neil McKinnon (Fishomania winner) says "Bloodworm Groundbait is the best red groundbait I have used, you can actually see the bits of bloodworm coming off the groundbait ball which triggers the carp to feed
Mixing Guidelines
Bloodworm Fishmeal is simple to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 2 pint maggot tub with water, pour this onto the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then allow it to rest for 30 minutes, during this time the water will be absorbed into the groundbait. Then for best results; to remove any lumps and create an even consistency, pass the groundbait through a riddle and it is ready to use.
When fishing sun and wind may dry the groundbait out a little, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or if it does dry out just add a little more water and mix again.
Bloodworm Fishmeal groundbait is part of a bigger range including hookbaits, feed pellets, pastes and liquids which can all be used by themselves or in conjunction with other baits.11 – Reward points -
Sonubaits Groundbait & Pellet Binder 900 grams
Groundbait and Pellet Binder is a simple-to-use additive that will help your groundbait, or pellets to bind or stick together.
This product is great for long range feeder fishing, where you need to know that your bait is still in/on the feeder when it hits the bottom. It can also be very useful when pole fishing on deeper venues.
Simply add some Groundbait and Pellet binder to your dry groundbait before mixing to help create a stickier mix. Once water is added this will help your groundbait to stick together. Ideal for Feeder or Pole fishing in deep or flowing water. Groundbait and Pellet Binder is best used on less sticky groundbaits, such as Supercrush F1, Supercrumb Lake or Supercrush Expander.
Sprinkle some Groundbait and Pellet Binder into your feed pellets and add a small amount of water to create sticky pellets. This will help your feed pellets stick on or into a feeder for long distance casting. It will also help create a ball for cupping in on the pole.
This easy-to-use additive has a wide array of uses. A real bait bag essential!4 – Reward points -
Sonubaits Maggot Fishmeal 2kg Groundbait
Maggot Fishmeal is one of our most popular groundbaits, we knew maggots were one of the best baits ever and because of this, we wanted to harness their fish catching ability in the form of a groundbait.
Fishing maggots come from the blue bottle fly which is the maggot used in making Maggot Fishmeal groundbait. When the fresh maggot has reached full size it is dehydrated. By dehydrating any product it removes most of the water so concentrates and intensifies the flavour. Dehydrated maggots have a unique smell which fish can't resist. The dehydrated maggot is then crushed to release even more flavour and then added to a mixture of crushed pellets, fishmeal, breadcrumb, meat extracts and cereals creating a unique groundbait for all species of coarse fish especially Carp, F1's, Bream, Tench and Roach.Maggot Fishmeal is simple to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 2-pint maggot tub with water, pour this onto the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then allow it to rest for 30 minutes, during this time the water will be absorbed into the groundbait. Then for best results; to remove any lumps and create an even consistency, pass the groundbait through a riddle and it is ready to use.
When fishing sun and wind may dry the groundbait out a little, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or if it does dry out just add a little more water and mix again.11 – Reward points -
Sonubaits Margin Carp 2kg Groundbait
A mix for catching lumps down the edge. We all know that a match can be won or lost in the last hour as often the bigger fish move to the edge and start feeding confidently, this is why it is important to have the right groundbait to feed in the edge.
Carp are attracted to groundbait and they will come in and feed confidently if the area is primed. The problem with a lot of groundbaits that people use for catching carp in the margins is they are too light and don't contain enough feed to keep the fish feeding. Often when carp come into the margins they will stir up the bottom when feeding and as soon as they are hooked all the groundbait which has brought them to the margin is wafted away by the hooked fish.
Because of this, we created a groundbait which not only draws the carp to the margins but also keeps them there as even if the fish kicks up the groundbait, the majority of it will drop back down in the same area rather than being washed away.
We have created this groundbait by using heavy ingredients which we have crushed into small particle sizes, this means that once you add water they soak it up and become heavy so when a fish does stir the groundbait up the weight of the particle size takes it back to the bottom very quickly and therefore keeps the rest of the fish feeding in the margins.
Andy Power (Commercial Specialist) says"I get through a lot of this when the bigger carp get caught in the margins, I mix it as soon as I get to my peg to make sure are the particles are as heavy as the can be, when I sense the time is right I will cup some in loose to move out any fish which are there without spooking them and then I will put plenty in for when the fish come back and start feeding, it is the best mix to use when fishing for carp in the margins."
