Daiwa Emblem 45 SCW QD-OT
This ‘Gold Spool’ release of the new generation of SCW Emblem also offers the retro One Touch handle.
The 45mm profile is recognized as the ultimate spool size for big distance casting. This new generation of Emblem utilizes a reduced oscillation speed called Slow Cross Wrap, enhancing the line lay. The result is lower consumption of casting energy during line release, when combined with the friction reducing double lip profile of the LC spool increases casting distance by more than 5%.
Supplied with a shallow C and spare deep LD spool; (300m – 0.35mm and 530m – 0.35mm). The C spool allows filling of three spools from 1000m.
Retrieval is geared down at 4.9:1 but still cranks up to 104cm per handle turn.

David McCormack06/01/2020, 09:11 PMHave received a set of the matching black version of these and loved them....i figured why not buy a additional one for spodding...might not be what this reel is intended for but I bet its up for the task..its as equally smooth and as well casting as its brother and sticks put enough to know right away which reel is my go to spod reel..tight lines
