  • A lead with studded surface for extra grip
  • Range includes nine sizes, from 1.1oz to 10oz
  • Perfect for river fishing
  • Extra grip allows you to use a smaller lead
  • Ideal for fishing sloping margins or islands

We do have some of the old style leads (has a hole in them) and will phase those into the new style as we receive them.

We have recorded that you can get the same grip with a 1oz Grippa as you can with a 2oz Swivel Pear Lead, so with that in mind you can get away with a smaller lead so do the same job which is an advantage when fishing for barbell and chub on the rivers, also a smaller lead makes a smaller splash so we like using them for casting to gently sloping island margins where a round lead can roll down. The Grippas have become massively popular on the continent where carping in wide fast flowing rivers is the norm and where you have to boat out baits massive distances.

This method lead is ideal quality and holds sticky bait on well. Works great in states that don't allow chumming so this is my alternative. This method lead works great with the Korda Lead Clip and tail rubbers. These weights are worth your money, they are great quality.

Excellent method weights. Hold bait great.

Unquestionable reliability. I guess they grip ok, but I use them as method feeders. Method bait holds well, and sloughs off easily on the bottom.
