Ty Buchanan06/24/2020, 10:29 AMUpgraded to these after using Nash S5 alarms. Materials used are a hard plastic. Feels a bit cheap in hand, but the internal electronics are SOLID. Reduced false beeps dramatically. Able to adjust sound volume, tone, and sensitivity to user preference. They do feel a bit expensive compared to how they look on the outside, but are definitely an upgrade from a basic bite alarm. Perhaps more time on the lake with them will see if they are truly worth the price. Perhaps if paired with a receiver they would allow a fisherman to do more without monitoring the rods too closely.
