Bought the size 4. They do run a size big in my opinion.
There were a few that were dull.. but like another review said..couple hit with hook sharpener you're good to go. But all in all..the price is right. So can't complain.

Chris09/18/2017, 07:24 PMI like that the hooks are much thicker than a non carp hook, but they are pretty dull out of the box. A minute with a hook sharpener and they were good to go.

Andrew08/26/2017, 07:56 PMI use these on a hair rig. Carp have a hard time seeing them and have been very successful for me.

Alexander08/12/2017, 11:49 PMWhen size 4 returns to inventory I will definitely buy them, I own these in both 6 & 8
Since switching to these hooks out of the last eight carp hooked only one got off from being landed, was my error too. I bet my hook is still in that in that fish's mouth. -
Christopher02/11/2017, 10:49 PMI bought these hooks in size 4 because I have been using standard hooks in size 4 so far. I was a bit surprised that they seemed bigger than other standard size 4 non-carp hooks. They look very strong. They are seem as sharp as other hooks out of the package (pass the thumbnail test). I will check them more closely and touch them up if necessary. I probably will get some size 6 as well, for smaller baits like fake corn or smaller boilies. I would recommend giving these a try.
