Guru X-Change Bait Up Braid 30lb
X-Change Bait Up Braid is a heavy-duty braided line that has been designed for ‘baiting up’ your swim. This super durable braided Hi-Viz orange line has been developed to withstand the wear and tear that comes with baiting up; casting big heavy feeders filled with bait multiple times.
The thin 0.16mm diameter makes casting the Bait Up Braid effortless, meaning you can cast further and more accurately due to its thin diameter. The braided material is also very strong with a breaking strain of 30lb/13,6kg, giving the angler supreme confidence when baiting up.

Korda Basix Spod/Marker Braid 200m
The Basix Spod/Marker Braid can be used for either feature finding or baiting up with a spod/Spomb. This buoyant braid is perfect for use on your marker rod, as it has zero stretch and so allows you to better feel your lead across the lake bed and to determine what features are present in front of you. Its low diameter compared to the breaking strain of 30lb makes it very easy to cast, and long distances can be achieved with minimal effort.
Due to the breaking strain, you can use it without the need for a shockleader, which makes it a lot more user-friendly and easier to fish with. Basix Spod/Marker Braid is made from a tightly woven braid and with a silky smooth feel to it, which also aids casting distance. It is an unobtrusive Camo Green colour and comes supplied on 200m spools, meaning that it is best used with some backing – the size of this spool ensures that you aren’t filling your reel with hundreds of metres of expensive braid that will never see the light of day!

Korda SLR Braid 300m
SLR stands for ‘super long range’ and this braid has been designed so that you can cast your spod or marker float to the horizon – in fact, your only limit will be how far you can cast your rigs with your fishing rods! SLR Spod/Marker Braid is incredibly thin diameter and is constructed from a single strand, meaning that it can effortlessly be cast ridiculous distances, as well as having virtually no stretch and allowing you to feel every stone on the lake bed. Due to it being so thin, you will need to use a shockleader with it, and we would recommend 30lb Arma-Kord, which creates a knot which will go through your rod rings without getting caught (stiffer leader materials can cause problems with frap-ups). It comes in a subtle green colour and is supplied on a 300m spool.

Korda Spod Braid
It is hard-wearing and has high knot strength, which is key when you consider just how much punishment that your spod setup is subject to over the course of a year. There are 300m on each spool, so you’ll be able to spool up more than once, as long as you back your spool up. We recommend that you use a 30lb Arma-Kord shock leader to take the force of the cast; you can attach this using a back-to-back grinner knot.

This is a super-fast-sinking main line braid that’s available in a subtle SUB-green colouring and two breaking strains. It attracted plenty of acclaim during the exhaustive testing period, with Elliott Gray in particular becoming a huge advocate. Aside from its unrivalled sinking properties, SUBbraid has no stretch, which means that feeling for the drop becomes even more advantageous. The braid transmits tiny lake-bed details back to the rod on the drop, and when pulled back, allowing you to clip up to a spot without getting the marker rod out of the bag! If you find yourself on fish in an unfamiliar swim, then being able to feel for that critical drop with absolute assurance is such an edge!
