The new innovative Guru catapult looks set to revolutionize cattys forever!! Featuring a frame with 6 different precise settings, and an adjustable elastic, it is now possible to tension the elastic to consistently hit the distance you require. Designed for match fishing so it is a smaller framed and less power.

This clever product is the brainchild of Guru-backed matchman Paul Holland. He’d made initial prototypes from standard method feeder, building up retaining sides made from the plastic packet that the feeders come in! His aim was to produce a feeder that had the compactness of a pellet feeder, but with the aerodynamics of a method feeder. Plenty of holes in the frame of the feeder ensure that the bait that you pack onto it can be sucked off the feeder almost as soon as the feeder hits the deck, allowing you to convert bites quickly. It’s extremely quick to load too, which allows you to spend more time ‘on fish’ when you’re in the zone. To load, all you do is thumb a little dampened pellet into the base of the feeder, pop your hook bait on top and press a little more pellet over the top, slightly less firmly. The raised sides that Paul designed protects the bait on impact, when you’re having to cast a long way, ensuring that the bait gets to the bottom as you’d like it to! The critical hook bait placement means that your bait is available and presented perfectly from the moment your feeder touches down.

The Impact Bomb is a flat pear shaped lead with a hole in the middle of it and a mesh which bait can be pushed into, so that it will stay in during the cast, with the majority of it ending up close to your hookbait.

The Impact Bomb is finished in ‘commercial camo’ coating and comes with a swivel attachment, making it suitable for use with a variety of different set ups, including on a lead clip or running on the main line.

This brutish, distance ‘pult is the big daddy of the impressive Guru catapult range. It has been designed to help group your free offerings tightly, even at maximum range, making it perfect for feeding pellets and particles accurately.

As you’d expect with a distance ‘pult, the elastic is extra strong and durable and the rugged frame has a special, non-twist design to improve accuracy and longevity. Super-smooth Frame Runners reduce wear on the elastic too, which will help to prolong its life.

The Incredible Pult has four pegging points to allow you to adjust the tension of the elastic depending on the range you’re fishing.

It will also come in very useful on venues that ban bolt rigs as you can fish it with a running feeder, but still get the self-hooking effect that a bolt rig would give, as the clip grips the line until a fish is hooked.

If you are using it with a pop-up then there is no need for any counter-balance weight, simply place the hooklink in the clip to set the required distance that you want your hookbait to sit above the loosefeed. Or you can use it to make sure that a bottom bait stays right in among the groundbait even once fish have disturbed it.

This is going to be a big hit with match and pleasure anglers, but is also likely to find favor with specimen anglers who want to use the Method and fish very short hook links. This is one of those incredibly simple products which can make a big difference to your catch rate!

Perhaps the cleverest is the anti-roll design, which means that the feeder stays the right way up in the very fastest of flows, ensuring perfect presentation.
